Northstar Fertility Center is a reproductive medicine practice in Seattle, Washington with board-certified reproductive endocrinologists and an on-site, CAP/CLIA-accredited embryology lab. We care for every path to parenthood — IVF, IUI, egg freezing and fertility preservation, genetic testing, donor and surrogacy programs, LGBTQ+ family building, and male-factor fertility — with honest outcomes, transparent costs, and a team that stays with you from the first consultation to the day you graduate to your OB.
It started with a conviction.
Northstar was founded in 2008 by Dr. Elena Marsh, a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist who believed fertility care could be both rigorously scientific and deeply human. Seventeen years later we are a SART-member practice with five REI physicians, an on-site embryology lab accredited by the College of American Pathologists, and a single conviction that hasn’t changed: tell people the truth, meet them where they are, and never let anyone feel alone in it.
Today, families come to us from across the greater Seattle area — Bellevue, Tacoma, Redmond, Everett, Kirkland, and beyond — for care that treats them as people, not cases.

Our embryology lab is on-site and accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and certified under CLIA — the gold standard for an IVF lab. Led by a PhD laboratory director, the lab handles fertilization, embryo culture, genetic-testing biopsy, and flash-freezing (vitrification). Because it’s ours, your eggs and embryos never leave our care.
